By opening an account with Carambola Logistics, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically, as updates may occur without prior notice. Upon registration, you will receive a U.S. shipping address and a unique mailbox number to use for all shipments.
Customers must ensure their shipping address, including the unique mailbox number, is correctly entered when ordering from merchants. Carambola Logistics is not responsible for misdeliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information. Any fees or losses incurred as a result will be the customer's responsibility.
Carambola Logistics does not inspect or guarantee the packaging quality of items shipped by merchants. Customers are responsible for ensuring merchants follow proper shipping practices. Damaged items resulting from poor packaging or mishandling by third parties, including customs officers, are not covered by Carambola Logistics.
Carambola Logistics only assumes responsibility for items lost or damaged after entering our logistics network. We are not liable for issues arising before arrival at our U.S. address or after delivery to the final destination.
Invoices and shipping documents must be submitted prior to your package arriving in Jamaica to ensure processing and claim eligibility.
All customers are required to declare the accurate contents and value of their shipments. Failure to comply may result in customs delays or legal consequences. If you disagree with this requirement, you are encouraged to explore alternative shipping options.
The following items are strictly prohibited from being shipped through Carambola Logistics:
Firearms and ammunition
Hazardous or flammable materials
Illegal substances or paraphernalia
Perishable food items
Live animals or plants
Cash, coins, or bearer instruments
Items restricted by Jamaican customs
Shipping any of the above items is a violation of our terms and may result in seizure, destruction, or legal consequences.
Once a package has arrived at Carambola Logistics’ facility in Jamaica, customers will be notified that their package is ready for pickup.
Customers have seven (7) calendar days from the date of notification to collect their packages.
After this grace period, a storage fee of JMD $250 per day will be applied until the package is claimed.
If a package remains unclaimed after one (1) month from the initial pickup notification, Carambola Logistics reserves the right to auction the item(s) to recover costs incurred for:
Customs clearance
Storage fees
Administrative handling
Customers will be reminded periodically within this one-month period. Auction proceeds will be used to recover outstanding balances, and no further claims will be accepted once an item is auctioned.
Carambola Logistics is a shipping facilitator only. We are not responsible for:
Defective products
Wrong items sent by merchants
Items not matching their descriptions
Buyer’s remorse or refund disputes
All such matters must be handled directly with the seller.
Carambola Logistics is not liable for any package lost, misdelivered, or stolen before entering our U.S. facility. Please ensure that merchants include your correct name and mailbox number.
